JAY C. ADKINS, JD - PRINCIPAL / OWNER
For well over 20 years, Jay has been a key leader within the Commercial Insurance and High Net Worth Client business and advisory services arena. For the last 15+ years, he has been a key player and nationally recognized subject-matter expert in the sophisticated insurance and unique financial advisory planning and management needs of business owners and their families. As Director of Adkins & Associates, Jay was able to leverage both the depth and breadth of his insurance and financial experience, as well as his legal training, to help businesses and families mitigate the myriad of risks associated with their various professional and personal holdings. Jay’s network of fellow professionals in the accounting, tax, legal, and asset management arenas enables him to call upon trusted experts and some of the sharpest minds throughout the country.
Jay’s most recent role here in San Diego, beginning in 2014, was for Farmers Insurance Group (FIG) as their pilot agent for a new program called the Retail West Program. This role again requiring him, with no contacts in California, to build another scratch agency from the ground up. Jay's previous role for nearly 15 years with FIG was in Oklahoma City where he was one of their top agents nationwide. In his role as owner, Jay was responsible for all aspects of business development, management, and leadership of what grew into a 10 Million plus premium/13-member organization. During his time with FIG, he consistently ranked within the top half of 1% of all agents and was the largest new business producing Commercial Agent for Farmers in Oklahoma for 11 straight years, and 4th in the Company in Assets Under Management/Financial Services. Jay’s impact and presence were felt throughout FIG where he was awarded inclusion in the President's Counsel as well as actively mentoring countless corporate leaders and independent and captive agents.
After the USAF, Jay began his career in the business advisory space with a PEO company, Employee Resources Group (ERG) as the VP of Marketing, where he doubled firm revenues in six months. His leadership was instrumental in positioning the firm for both dynamic growth and the eventual sale to a major national employee benefits provider.
Jay earned his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University graduating with the prestigious Phi Delta Phi Award. He also graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Colorado - Leeds School of Business, earning his Business Administration undergraduate degree in both Finance & Economics. While attending Law School, Jay was recognized with the Intramural Moot Court Competition Award as the school's best advocate in a courtroom setting. While at CU, Jay was President and debate Champion of the nationally recognized Debate Team and was an active leader in various campus professional fraternity organizations.
Jay is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.
CRAIG W. BASS - PRINCIPAL / OWNER
Craig is an experienced insurance professional. Insurance is in his blood. His father was a perennial top performer for Farmers Insurance with a forty-year agency in Torrance, CA. Upon completion of his studies at San Diego State University, he started his own scratch agency in Lomita, CA. He remained an agent, winning every honor Farmers could bestow, establishing himself as a rising star within the company. Within seven years he had attained the pinnacle of Farmers success by being invited to participate in President’s Council, an honor reserved for the upper 1% of agents and district managers.
Looking for greater challenges, Craig turned his agency back over to the company to try his hand at being a district manager. He moved to Colorado for a two-year tutelage. Then he accepted his own small district. He took the district from obscurity to notoriety by increasing both sales and morale. He rapidly established himself an insurance prodigy and a natural leader… a rare combination.
In 2002 Craig returned to California and took the reins of District 9951 in San Diego. The rest is history. Craig turned this small district into a powerhouse, netting him Southern California District Manager of the Year as well as all other awards offered by Farmers. Toppers Club is awarded to the top 15% and he won that twenty- five times. The Championship award goes to the top 5%. He won it eleven times. Lastly, the coveted President’s Council (top 1%) was awarded Craig Bass an amazing ten times.
Craig’s ideas on leadership are sought by high-level corporate managers throughout the industry. Craig is a student of his profession with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. He attained the American College professional designation LUTC for his studies in Life Insurance sales and is pursuing the CIC title denoting an exceptional expertise in commercial insurance. Craig understands that sales is an art form, but leadership is a science. He is the rare combination of both. He is at ease managing and operating a one hundred-million-dollar enterprise. He maintains both state insurance and federal licenses. A Craig Bass-led enterprise means two things: high sales and high morale. The subordinates realize he is a mentoring partner as well as a boss. He is followed willingly. In August, 2018 Craig retired from Farmers and joined ISPC in 2019.
Craig resides in Point Loma, CA with his wife, Julie and daughter, Rachel. His four adult children, Joshua, Jonathan, Tristan and Alexia have all left the nest and are pursuing their own entrepreneurial or educational endeavors.
CHARLEY BEALS - MASTER AGENT / EQUITY PARTNER
Charley Beals has worked in insurance for nearly twenty years, operating in many different positions, including agent and District Manager, since his start in 2003. From 2005 to 2013, he ran a top producing commercial district in Southern California for Farmers Insurance. In 2014, he turned his Commercial Insurance expertise into Beals Insurance Agency, Inc. This boutique agency specializes in servicing Residential Care Facilities in California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, and Texas. As its CEO, Charley’s respect for quality and care has guided it from a small business to a sought-after agency.
Charley graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. His next venture was to establish and act as the CEO of Dovetail Ventures, Inc., a manufacturer of personal care products serving the advertising specialty industry. This ingenuity in blending practical need with aesthetic appeal made him a two-time patent holder, awarded in September 2000 and March 2003.
In 2016, Charley added “published author” to his already diverse resume. He used his years of insurance experience and overall business acumen to write “California RCFE Insurance Guide: Getting the Protection You Need in a Changing Environment.” This guide embodies Charley’s driving goal within the insurance industry: to help people take care of each other, in any way possible.
In his spare time, Charley enjoys fishing, acting as a Casting Instructor for the Conejo Valley Fly Fishing Club. He currently lives in Carpinteria, CA, with his wife, Beth, where their two adult daughters visit.
MARTIN BUENO - MASTER AGENT
Josh Cintas is a native San Diegan who spent some time on the East Coast in Massachusetts studying and playing soccer before heading back to San Diego to play more soccer and study law. He is currently working on passing the California Bar during this pandemic (fun stuff). In between law and insurance, he is also developing a media marketing business with friends from high school that has been very successful thus far. He loves and enjoys the countless beautiful things the city of San Diego has to offer, having been many places in his life, and can confidently say there is no other place he would rather establish himself! You can find him playing any sport throughout the city (as long as I'm not battling an injury) or at any beach in the city (as long as it's not closed because of the pandemic). Life motto's- "Energy is currency, spend it wisely" and "Maximizing the human experience is falling in love with the journey, not the destination.
Myron Dudynsky joined our team in March 2020. Myron has more than 30 years of insurance experience under his belt. For 15 years he worked as an insurance agent in Minneapolis for both Lincoln National and American Family. He then relocated to California and for 27 years worked as an agent for Farmers Insurance, successfully running his own branch in Santa Fe Springs, CA. He has specialized knowledge in straight life, annuity, and commercial insurance. Myron also has his Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation which is a highly intensive professional program to further one’s insurance and financial knowledge. Prior to entering the world of insurance, Myron received his B.A. in Psychology and History as well as his M.A. in Administration, and worked as a teacher in Minneapolis. He is quadrilingual in English, Ukrainian, Polish, and Russian. In his free time, he loves traveling with his wife of 50 years and spending time with his two children.

Eli is a quick paced, service oriented agent who has been in the insurance business since 2017. Starting his career at Farmers Insurance, he quickly laddered himself to the top becoming an agency owner. Eli has also been awarded "Career Agent of the Year" and “Specialty Agent of the Year" in 2018. His top tier performance speaks for itself, however, Eli is most passionate about helping clients get proper coverages and informing them the importance of protecting their assets. He is LA born and raised and is bilingual in English and Spanish. When he is not busy helping his clients save money, Eli enjoys gardening and using homegrown vegetables in new recipes.

KIM MUDGE - MEMBER/AGENT
Originally from Cincinnati, Kim graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree in Business, and from Western Michigan University with a MBA in Marketing. Kim has more than 30 years experience in global business sales. In 2019, Kim decided it was time to stop working for large corporations and to start working for herself!
Kim's passion is surprising her clients by going above and beyond for them. When everyone else says 'NO' or ‘Our policy says...', Kim says 'Yes, but let’s shoot even higher!'.
Kim and her husband Randy have a combined family of four children, hoping to get the last one through his Senior year of high school. To celebrate the empty nest, they decided to add one more smaller member to the household, and in June welcomed Josephine Bone-apart (a cute 5 pound Coton-Poo) to their family! When you stop in Kim's office, don’t be surprised to see little Josie happily napping under the desk!

Bryan has been involved in the insurance industry since 2002. Having held various corporate management positions, he started his insurance career providing health and benefit solutions to employers. Licensed in Life, Health, Property and Casualty he built and managed a full-service agency protecting families and businesses for 17 years. Innovative problem solving and tenacious customer service are his hallmarks of success. Bryan holds a master’s degree in engineering from Kansas State University. He worked in the Aerospace, Healthcare and Building Products industries prior to pursuing insurance. He is a longtime resident of Carlsbad, California along with his wife, Kim and teen children, Minnie, and Wynn. They are all avid sports fans and enjoy watching or participating in the fun whenever possible.
